Halve fresh, sungold tomatoes (or grape or cherry or other small tomato) and toss with soy sauce, toasted sesame seed oil (start with a little and add to taste), freshly chopped basil, and salad greens.
So simple, so fresh, so super yummy!

Great idea, we have lots of cherry tomatoes ripening now. How do you toast sesame seed oil or does it come that way? Is fine if I just use the oil from the store? FYI, cherry tomatoes with chopped up cucumber and dill with a flavored vinegar is also a great way to use them.
ReplyDeleteHi, Kate--you'll love this recipe. You can find toasted sesame oil at Greenlife or Earth Fare. Be careful--it's addictive!
